• Applicants already near completion can use the time to tighten the proposal, but should not assume another extension will follow.
• October 9, 2026 is a Friday, and October 2 was also a Friday, so the deadline falls on the same weekday. Build in a buffer before the final day in case of portal slowdowns.

No other fields changed, so requirements and funding details appear unaffected. Confirm the new date, and the submission time and time zone, in the official notice.
