TReX II Listings

RallyProp monitors the public trex2.org/rfs table for Training and Readiness Accelerator II (TReX II) Requests for Solutions — OTA opportunities that rarely appear on SAM.gov. What we capture is listing-only: title, customer, RFS number, and dates.

What is TReX II?

The Training and Readiness Accelerator II (TReX II) is a DoD Other Transaction Authority (OTA) consortium managed by Advanced Technology International (ATI). It issues Requests for Solutions (RFS) on behalf of customers such as Army PEO STRI (Simulation, Training and Instrumentation) and TRMC (Test Resource Management Center).

TReX II exists to prototype training, simulation, test, and readiness capabilities faster than FAR-based contracting. Solicitations are consortium RFSs, not SAM.gov contract opportunities — which is why most BD teams never see them unless they already watch trex2.org.

Full RFS packages (statements of work, attachments, Q&A) live behind the ATI members portal at identity.ati.org. The public site only publishes a table of titles, customers, RFS numbers, and dates.

Listing-Only Intelligence

RallyProp does not scrape the members portal. TReX II records in the app are public-table snapshots, not full solicitations. There is no AI-generated Rally Report, no downloaded package, and no hidden technical objective beyond the title.

What you get vs. what members get

Use RallyProp as an early-warning radar. When a new RFS appears or a due date moves, you still need consortium membership (or a member teammate) to download the package and bid.

Why TReX II Listings Matter

Not on SAM.gov

TReX II RFSs are consortium OTAs. If you only watch SAM.gov and Grants.gov, you will miss training, simulation, and test prototype work entirely.

Early Warning, Not a Full Brief

A new row on the public table is often the first public signal that an RFS exists. That is enough to start teaming and membership conversations before the due date.

Dates Move

Release dates and due dates on the public table change. RallyProp treats those date changes as events — the same way we treat deadline extensions on other sources.

Membership Required to Bid

Packages stay behind identity.ati.org. Tracking the listing is useful even if you are not a member yet — you know when to join, team, or pass.

Typical Customer Focus

Public listings name a customer, not a full technical statement of work. Titles and customers typically cluster around these mission areas.

Focus AreaDescription
Training & SimulationLive, virtual, and constructive training systems, instrumentation, and synthetic environments.
Test ReadinessTest range instrumentation, data collection, and evaluation infrastructure for TRMC and related customers.
PEO STRI PrototypesArmy simulation, training, and instrumentation prototypes awarded through the TReX II OTA.
Readiness EnablersTools and platforms that improve unit readiness, after-action review, and operator proficiency.

Who Should Watch TReX II

TReX II is most relevant if you already work training, simulation, or test — or if you advise clients who do.

  • Training and simulation companies targeting Army PEO STRI and related customers
  • Test instrumentation and range-systems vendors watching TRMC RFSs
  • Non-traditional defense firms considering TReX II membership so they can bid OTAs
  • Primes and integrators looking for teaming partners when a new RFS number appears
  • Consultants who need to tell clients a TReX II listing showed up before the due date

How RallyProp Tracks TReX II

RallyProp scrapes the public RFS table only. We skip AI enrichment and Rally Report generation because there is no public statement of work to read.

  • Monitors trex2.org/rfs for new rows and date changes on a regular schedule
  • Captures title, customer, RFS number, release date, and due date from the public table
  • Treats new listings and due-date changes as alertable events
  • Keeps a 120-day lookback on closed listings so recently closed RFSs stay visible
  • Marks every record listing-only so the app does not imply a full solicitation package
  • Does not download members-only packages or invent technical summaries from the title alone

What triggers an alert

New RFS row or date change

Submission windows can be short once an RFS is live. An alert on the public listing is your cue to pull the members package or start teaming — not a substitute for reading the RFS.

Never Miss a TReX II Listing

Get a push when a new TReX II RFS appears or a due date moves. Then use membership or a teammate to open the full package on the ATI portal.
