FY26 DEFENSE ESTABLISHED PROGRAM TO STIMULATE COMPETITIVE RESEARCH (DEPSCoR) CAPACITY BUILDING (CB)

The DEPSCoR Capacity Building program aims to increase the number of university researchers in eligible States/Territories capable of performing science and engineering research responsive to DoD needs, and to enhance the capabilities of institutions of higher education to develop, plan, and execute S&E research relevant to the DoD mission. This is a capacity-building initiative targeting geographic regions with historically lower levels of DoD research funding.

Institutions of higher education (IHEs) located in eligible States and Territories with lower historical levels of DoD R&D funding.
